I thought it would be a different way to spread HOOP.
On the tags - I numbered each one
Then I had the HOOP on the front and on the back I wrote:

HOOP in Magaliesberg
Magaliesberg mountain view
On top of the highest peak of the Magaliesberg mountain I saw a breathtaking view together with a cross, which symbolised God overlooking everyone and everything.
‘HOOP’ will now for all eternity stand on that mountain at the foot of the cross.

The oldest way of human expression was through art. Thanks to cave paintings modern humans could understand, learn from, and appreciate the way we are today. These paintings survived through thousands of years because of their location. I chose to place ‘HOOP’ in a cave on the Magaliesberg mountain, to symbolise eternity, remembrance, appreciation and understanding.

I couldn't spray anywhere, cops and security everywhere u go. Or just too many people to not get busted. So I shot through the stencil...even the a guard started following us when we were on Rockefeller to see what we were doing!

Door of Hoop
I found this old door in our complex and thought I would put my hoop on there. It's beautiful to me because it's worn and weathered, and it has a story to tell.
I feel that each of our lives are shaped by the scars we carry, they make us who we are. There was a time in my own life where all I had to hold on to was hope. Hope is the one thing we have left when we are weathered, and when everything else is uncertain.
